Jobstore are seeking a well qualified Design Engineer to join a leading Lancashire based manufacturing business who are experiencing great business growth. We are looking for a Design Engineer on a permanent basis, who can deliver on high quality sterile projects and who can take ownership of the Project Life Cycle from product concept through to delivery with the customer This is a pivotal role with the business where you will be needed to work closely with the Sales Team to offer concept design solutions during quotation and tender process, producing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams for a clean room containment environment. In this role you will be required to
? Work closely with others in the Engineering Team to help develop new products for new and
emerging markets
? Work closely with the Head of Engineering to develop and improve existing designs
? Drive design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly best practices
? Create General Arrangement drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials
