Join our team as a Floral Design Associate, where you will have the opportunity to assist in crafting beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Welcome and assist customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
Design and create stunning floral arrangements to fulfill customer requests.
Package orders efficiently, ensuring the safe delivery of products.
Organize and maintain merchandise and supplies in designated areas.
Keep thorough and accurate customer records and files.
Guide customers in locating and selecting products effectively.
Manage phone calls and orders with promptness and politeness.
Assist in the decoration and merchandising of the floral department.
Maintain organization of carts, tools, and supplies.
Ensure a clean, safe, and clutter-free environment in the workspace.
Care for plants and prepare flower arrangements and balloons.
Ensure proper signage, product rotation, and quality for all merchandise.
Follow all company policies and comply with state and federal regulations.
Operate cash registers in accordance with company procedures.
Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret shelf tags, signs, product labels, and training materials.
Effective multitasking and priority-setting skills.
Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to follow through on tasks.
Team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced work environment.
Skills in merchandising, production, and customer service.
Ability to safely work with cleaning solutions and sharp tools.
Desired Qualifications: Proven track record of dependability and integrity.
Knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
Experience in grocery retail and customer service environments.
Familiarity with cash register operations and handling transactions.
