The Design Engineer is responsible of the production of Technical Documentation (2D and 3D Design, Calculation, Bill Of Materials, Specification, Design Review, etc.) in the scope of Framatome Limited. The role is based in the Design Office in Avonmouth.
The role consists in delivering the Design Package through its Lifecycle in accordance with the Framatome Limited processes, procedures and instructions. The Design Engineer has a primary role in supplying the Design Package by ensuring all Requirements are populated, reviewed, analysed and prioritised; from the conceptual phase to the detailed design and release of deliverables. The Design Engineer is constantly seeking optimisation within the Engineering processes, procedures and instructions and is actively participating in Design Reviews as well as HSE activities in relation to the Design.
