Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Delta, BC facility and offers benefits from day one as well as a company vehicle.
The targeted compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 a year.

You will be part of a vibrant sales team working together to support the sales and orders of applicable Eaton products and services in the commercial market in BC. The representative will be responsible for Electrical Contractors in the construction and residential markets.
The candidate will gain experience in leadership, sales and being part of a progressive and collaborative team. You will be involved in creating solutions to solve customer's challenges. This position will provide opportunities to apply solutions to support ESG goals through the rapid growth of electrification and housing growth initiatives in the province.
This role requires leadership to collaborate consistently with several stakeholders internally and channel partners to support the business including the quotation of projects, training and pricing requests.

**What you'll do:**
In this role you will be responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for applicable Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing and target accounts in the BC market. You will also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers and contractors to drive sustainable sales growth.
You will manage all aspects of the customer relationship including providing quotations and technical assistance to contractors, distributors and end users to support and drive sustainable sales growth. You will lead product seminars for channel and contractors to support Eaton products including creating presentations for relevant products and services. In addition, this role requires participation in customer events and trade shows.
You will collaborate in a team environment while providing quotations and technical expertise to channel and contractors to support the sales plans and growth strategies in the region. Your leadership will cultivate industry relationships with channel, contractors and with all departments at Eaton. You will manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through a CRM tool to support the sales objectives that are assigned.
+ **Sales** - You will implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives that will be supported through the preparation of sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer's needs and expectations. The candidate will understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; Communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions to the region. They will promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
+ **Collaboration** - Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
+ **Customer Relationships** - Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins.

**What will make you successful?**
The ideal candidate is an agile learner who enjoys fast paced sales environment while providing a high level of customer service. They understand the importance of customers, organizations, channel strategy and pricing to deliver support through creating quotations to for distributors, contractors and end users.
The candidate will have a digital mindset and understand customer prospecting. They will have experience in the industry and understand electrical single lines and specifications. They will be a self starter and motivated to provide customer solutions with a strong drive for results. They will also display an understanding of solution selling will have strong communication skills.
We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
- Red Seal Electrician, Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales and/or technical experience in the electrical industry
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
- Valid and unrestricted drivers licence
**Preferred Requirements:**
- Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of sales and/or technical experience in the electrical industry
- P Eng., CET designation
