**Qnity Kingston Quality Leader**
The Kingston Site Quality Lead position is broken down into 2 main areas. Quality Control (QC) and Quality Management System (QMS).
Starting with the QC the KTC Quality Leader is responsible for developing and driving site standards and expectations for raw‑material quality supply and in‑process quality, working closely with technical, analytical, R&D, and manufacturing teams to establish robust, risk‑based quality controls. This role leads internal audits spanning raw‑material quality and in‑process quality systems, identifies gaps, and drives effective corrective actions to ensure consistent execution of quality requirements. The position requires expertise in quality systems, auditing, and process quality control, along with the ability to translate technical and analytical insights into practical standards that support small‑lot manufacturing and customer sampling projects through strong cross‑functional collaboration.
The QMS role is responsible for leading the site ISO committee as the chair and process owner, coordinating all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 internal and external audits, and maintaining full compliance of the Kingston Technology Centre's QMS. The position also serves as the primary liaison and contract administrator for the site's certification body, delivers new‑employee quality orientation and ISO 9001 training content, owns the Environmental Management System internal audit program, manages the site calibration process and vendor relationships, and administers both the document control and training record databases to ensure accurate, reliable, and audit‑ready information across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Establish, implement, and continuously improve Kingston site standards and expectations for raw‑material quality supply **and in‑process quality** , in collaboration with technical and analytical teams.
+ Lead internal audits covering raw‑material quality supply **and in‑process quality systems and controls** , identifying gaps, driving corrective actions, and ensuring consistent execution of quality requirements.
+ Partner with R&D, manufacturing, technical, and analytical teams to develop and deploy best‑practice **in‑process quality standards and process controls** supporting small‑lot manufacturing and customer sampling projects.
+ Manage audit planning and execution for both ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
+ Oversee the quality manual and the document control process & procedures
+ Support site leadership with objective setting and risk management, and preparing and facilitating QMS management reviews
+ Contract Administrator for the QMS Registrar (Intertek SAI) to maintain site certification. Coordinate 3rd party audit, registrar liaison.
+ New employee quality orientation - ISO 9001 General Awareness iLearn owner
+ Core Process Owner for Environmental management system (EMS)
+ TQIR incident management leader for any unusual quality related incidents
+ Calibration Process Owner (Monitoring & Measuring) - Maintain site calibration database, and records for site scale calibrations. Coordinate annual service as CA.
+ Administrator for the site's document control database (App)
+ Administrator for the site's training records database (iLearn)
**Required Skills**
+ High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple quality initiatives simultaneously.
+ System oriented. Knowledgeable and agile to work in multiple apps, databases and control systems
+ Knowledge of **raw‑material quality systems** , supplier quality expectations, and incoming material controls.
+ Demonstrated experience developing and implementing **in‑process quality standards and controls** , particularly in development or small‑lot manufacturing environments.
+ Proven capability to **plan and lead internal audits** covering raw‑material quality and in‑process quality systems, including root‑cause analysis and corrective action follow‑up.
+ Ability to work effectively with **technical, analytical, R&D, and manufacturing teams** to translate technical requirements into practical quality standards.
+ Solid understanding of **process quality control principles** , risk‑based thinking, and quality best practices (e.g., control plans, critical parameters, sampling strategies).
+ Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive fact‑based quality decisions.
+ Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills to influence cross‑functional teams and align on quality expectations.

The Pay range for this role is $55,860.00 - $87,780.00 Annual
