Maintenance/Continuous Improvement Summer Intern

* Assist team in identifying process improvements.
* Assist with preventive maintenance optimization strategy.
* Assist with maintenance inventory JDE optimization.
* Assist maintenance with implementation of new automation projects (if any).
* Assist with plant safety policy training and policy enforcement when contractors are on site.
* The student may be required to work at other WestRock Facilities during this term.
* Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will be flexible, dependable, committed to working safely, have a strong work ethic, quality conscience, and have the desire & ability to work in a fast paced. Must be able to work May - August.
Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in post-secondary education
* Excellent eye for detail
* Able to work in an environment where there could be a high degree of variation, noise and dust
* Excellent team worker
* Have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
* Excellent attendance is required to fulfill operation needs
