Fuel Transport is looking for a Logistic Account Specialist for our office located in Brampton.

Detailed Job Description:
- Manage, plan and coordinate logistic movements with existing customers and develop new suppliers.
- Use equipment tracking data to process real-time information for clients.
- Constant contact with existing and new carriers to determine availability and negotiate transportation rates.
- Price negotiation for 3PL services.
- Maintain and grow relationships with carriers to move freight as per client’s needs and fast-pace decision-making in resolving freight movement issues.
- Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, implementing solutions for gain of efficiency.
- Maximize partnership, efficiency utilizing analytics and evaluating profits as per market fluctuations.
- By nurturing strong carrier relationships, generating leads for future client identification.
- Research and understand market trends, changes and seasonality as per type of industry.
- Work in tandem with the internal team members to ensure client satisfaction.
- Use equipment tracking data to process real-time information for clients.
- Ensuring we are meeting client KPI’S requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Collegial degree in administration, logistics or other fields with at least 2-5 years of experience in logistic movements coordination.
- Excellent verbal, reading comprehension and writing skills English.
- Good Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and comfortable learning new IT systems.
- Self-motivated and business minded team player.
- Capacity to take-on multiple mandates and prioritize.
- Resilient and dedicated.
- Accessible to clients and suppliers outside of standard office hours.
- Able to work under pressure in a just in time manner. (24/7 type work environment)
- Entrepreneurial and driven professional with a winning mentality.
Compensation & Benefits
- The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, with final compensation determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skill set.
