About the Role
As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the full scope of HR operations for Antares Alliance and its associated companies. You will:
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience programs
- Partner with executives to design people strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Build and enhance HR policies, tools, and systems
- Lead compliance, training, and performance programs
- Support leaders in coaching, culture building, and organizational change
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team
- Lead culture development initiatives across Antares Alliance companies
- Drive organizational development, planning, and change management
- Identify HR priorities and develop long-term people strategies
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and talent pipelines
- Coordinate interviews, offers, contracts, and onboarding
- Build consistent hiring processes across business units
Employee Relations & Culture
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues
- Support leaders in coaching and team development
Performance, Training & Development
- Oversee performance review processes
- Implement growth, development, and competency programs
- Coordinate organizational training requirements
HR Administration & Systems
- Maintain employee files, HRIS data, and employment documentation
- Manage time-off policies, reporting, and HR metrics
- Support payroll and benefits coordination
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure employment law compliance across jurisdictions
- Update and maintain policies, handbooks, and standards
What We’re Looking For
- 7-10 years progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Canadian employment legislation
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity environments is an asset
- Exceptional communication, discretion, and judgment
- Ability to balance day-to-day operations with strategic priorities
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office; experience with data-driven reporting is an asset
Working Conditions
- Office-based with occasional travel
- Flexibility for high priority or time-sensitive deliverables
