We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with various types of diesel equipment and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Must have own tools. Monday through Friday 45 hours a week.
*Duties*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
* Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues.
* Execute brake repairs and ensure proper functioning of braking systems.
* Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, for testing and repairs.
* Fabricate parts as needed to support repair processes.
* Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of diesel and automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and equipment repair.
* Familiarity with all engines is a plus.
* Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
* Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to mechanical work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
* A valid driver's license may be required for this position.

Pay: $23.00 - $36.00 per hour
