Job Description
We're seeking a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Manager to lead and support outpatient and intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs. This role is ideal for a certified counselor with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of recovery, and a commitment to community wellness.
Responsibilities
- Support the Program Director in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring timely client services.
- Train and mentor new and existing staff, interns, and volunteers. Lead recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to state and county regulations, oversee CalOMS and other mandatory reports, and maintain program certifications (DMC, AOD).
- Oversee billing practices, track financial performance, and support program sustainability.
- Facilitate group and individual counseling, oversee treatment plans, and ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
- Lead outreach efforts to raise awareness about substance use risks and build partnerships with DCFS, parole, probation, and other agencies.
- Certified SUD Counselor with Clinical Supervision credentials. Required
- A minimum 5 years of experience in human services or community-based substance use programs.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team.
- Familiarity with SAPC billing procedures.
- Strong understanding of recovery models, including 12-step programs.
- Experience developing curricula and conducting observed drug testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with documentation and reporting.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid CA driver license, and be willing to travel between sites (mileage reimbursed)
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
