Project Manager - Mechanical/HVAC (Construction)

Job Description

Project Manager (Mechanical/HVAC) needed for Commercial Mechanical Contractor to assist HVAC Department Manager with:

• Review and critique of HVAC submittals for submission and approval
• Manager subcontractors through duration of project(s)
• Oversee Commissioning for HVAC projects
• Review closeout requirements for project commissioning
• Assist with HVAC piping field installation information/processes
• Assist with HVAC piping takeoffs, buyouts, vendor purchasing
• Attend site progress meetings
• Update schedules
• Order & track material
• Manage labor force

5+ years commercial construction experience preferred and knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial setting, including pipefitting field experience (or equivalent) a must. This is a position for someone interested in transitioning from a field setting to a construction office setting or relevant work experience..

Must possess good communication skills, computer skills and be able to read and understand complex commercial plans (blueprints) and specifications, AutoCAD experience a plus. Stable and verifiable work history.
