Job Description

Job Summary

Help manage daily operations of sites to ensure delivery of high-quality craftsmanship and service to clients. Responsible for crew productivity, and workplace safety.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Serve as client point-of-contact for day-to-day site issues, and expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needs

• Conduct walkthroughs with client 

• Effectively communicate with crew the tasks necessary to provide a consistent, high-quality product for clients

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills; develop morale and recognize employee achievements; foster opportunities for professional development of employees

• Work closely with Co-Owners on client communication and expectations, including site information

• Ensure safety on every site by conducting and enforcing safety training, as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazards

• Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices

• Direct supervision of 2-8 person crews

• Problem resolution

Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 2 years of professional experience in the field.

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English

• Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus

• Strong relationship-building and customer relations skills

• Strong management and leadership skills

• Effective oral and written communication

• Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment and tools

• Have a working understanding of irrigation repairs and familiarity with irrigation controller monitoring and adjusting

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines

• Organizational skills

• Flexibility

• Valid driver's license

• Knowledge of irrigation systems and controller programming, as well as landscape maintenance techniques & methods.

• Superior gardening & pruning skills, proficiency operating hand tools and ability to recognize the signs of plant stress.

• General maintenance / handyman skills and a focus on working safely and efficiently.

• Strong communication skills, willingness & ability to receive and act on instructions from supervisors and customer service oriented.

• Able to work outdoors all seasons of the year.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year depending on experience
