Treatment Foreman

Job Description

The Southington Water Department is seeking candidates for a Treatment Foreman position to responsibly oversee all daily and periodic functions to ensure proper operation and control of the Reservoir Treatment Plant, wells, tanks and pumping facilities.  To be considered for this position, candidates must have a H.S. diploma or equivalent and meet the following experience and certification requirements:

·         Possess and maintain during employment a State of Connecticut Certification as a Water-Treatment Class IV Operator license within 18 months of employment.

·         Have a minimum of five (5) years Water Treatment experience in water utility operations.

·         Possess a valid State of Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator License.
