Construction Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description

Allgire General Contractors is a second-generation, family-owned construction firm with over 36 years of experience. As a small-to-medium-sized company, we specialize in multi-family residential construction, including ground-up builds and rehabilitation projects. We utilize Procore as our project management platform and place a strong emphasis on team well-being and a positive, collaborative company culture.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager and Estimator to join our team. This role reports directly to the VP of Construction and Sr. Vice President and plays a key part in the success of our preconstruction efforts.

PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Budget
• RFI's
• Submittals
• Scheduling
• Meeting Agenda and Minutes
• Scope/Contract Management and Execution
• Change Orders

Project scope includes:

• 40 to 250 multi-family residential units
• Ground-up construction
• Rehabilitation
• Project durations ranging from 12 to 24 months
• Contract values between $10M and $75M

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in multi-family residential construction is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction documents
• Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

ESTIMATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct constructability reviews
• Solicit and manage subcontractor bids
• Develop and maintain bid schedules
• Lead preconstruction meetings
• Perform bid leveling and analysis
• Complete accurate quantity takeoffs
• Deliver milestone estimates (e.g., 50% DD, 100% DD, 50% CD)
