Position Summary: As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise networking service solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your deep knowledge of networking technologies and strong consultative approach will be pivotal in crafting valuable and scalable offerings that tackle complex networking challenges. Key Responsibilities: Engage with sales teams and clients to thoroughly understand their goals, requirements, and challenges. Support pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions and technical assessments, to pinpoint opportunities for modernization. Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams to align with client expectations and objectives. Establish trust and rapport with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. Solution Development Focus: Create detailed technical proposals encompassing solution architecture, implementation timelines, and budget estimates. Design scalable solutions involving software-defined networking (SDN) and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures. Provide in-depth knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, network automation, and security architectures. Drive professional services revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing service offerings. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure cohesive solution development and project handoffs. Foster collaboration with SHI sales teams to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client interaction. Partner with product and marketing teams to stay current with the latest enterprise networking innovations. Actively mentor sales teams to help them articulate the value of SHI's networking services. Serve as a thought leader, offering insights on best practices and industry trends to clients and team members. Contribute to the growth of our practice by identifying new development areas and spearheading innovation initiatives. Establish and maintain high standards of practice to ensure premium service delivery. Desired Attributes: Expertise in networking technologies including routing, switching, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and network security. Proficiency in network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python. A proven track record in a similar role, with a dedication to service solution development and professional services revenue growth. Exceptional leadership qualities with the capability to collaborate with diverse teams. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and design appropriate solutions that adhere to budgetary considerations. Extensive experience in the creation of technical documentation, proposals, and architecture diagrams. Additional Qualifications: A completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience. Willingness to travel occasionally. A decade of technical experience with progressive responsibilities. A decade of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions. A decade of experience in migrating technology solutions. A decade of experience developing and executing automation scripts. Preferred certifications: CCIE, JNCIE, AWS/Azure Networking. The base salary for this position ranges from $128,000 to $200,000. The estimated on-target earnings (OTE), which includes salary and potential bonuses, range from $160,000 to $250,000.
