Director of Social Services

Location: Salem, MA (On Site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5 Days / 8-Hour Shifts
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and dedicated LSW, LCSW, or LICSW to join our team as Director of Social Services . In this role, you will be the heartbeat behind our residents’ emotional and social well-being — guiding families, supporting transitions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive holistic, person-centered care
• Address the psychological, social, and physical needs of residents and their families
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams
• Conduct social assessments during admissions
• Maintain ongoing communication and support with residents’ families
• Assist the Admissions Coordinator by providing tours to prospective residents and families
• Conduct pre-admission assessments to support smooth transitions into the facility

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited School of Social Work
• Active licensure in the state of practice (LSW, LCSW, or LICSW)
• 2+ years of experience in long-term care
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Passion for working with seniors and providing compassionate care
