Project Manager - Residential Construction

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our growing Custom Residential Construction Company to join our team! The right candidate will oversee projects from start to finish, manage the budget, and schedule with subcontractors while ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation and finish
• Oversee and control project costs, manage expenditures, and ensure projects stay within the approved budget
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management is a must
• Familiarity with construction management software and blueprints
• Experience in closely watching budgets and change orders
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
