Mitigation Project Manager

Job Description

Standard Restoration is a fast-growing disaster restoration company specializing in water, fire, mold, and biohazard mitigation. We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to lead and grow our Denver-area mitigation operations.

This is a leadership role for a restoration professional who thinks like an owner, builds strong teams, and drives operational excellence while maintaining strict adherence to IICRC standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage mitigation field technicians to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability
• Oversee emergency response, mitigation execution, and job monitoring
• Inspect properties, assess damage, and develop detailed mitigation plans
• Ensure all work complies with IICRC S500/S520 standards
• Communicate scope, timelines, and expectations with clients and insurance adjusters
• Manage documentation, job costing, and file quality
• Participate in on-call rotation (evenings/weekends)
• Recruit, train, and mentor mitigation technicians
• Improve systems, processes, and department performance

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years restoration industry experience (water mitigation required)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• IICRC WRT required (ASD preferred; AMRT/FSRT a plus)
• Strong understanding of insurance claims and adjuster communication
• Experience with Xactimate preferred
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (DOE)
