The team at Atlas is here to provide clients in communities in Illinois and Wisconsin with a broad range of home building and innovative remodeling services. Our areas of service in this field include:

Roofing repair and new roof installation. Because the roof is such an important component for any home, it’s essential to contact Atlas General Contractors at the first of a leak or deterioration of your roof. Our inspectors can identify the problems with your roof and advise if repairs would be sufficient or if full or partial replacement is necessary. Gutters, siding and new installation of doors and windows.

Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Overseeing daily operations, organizing the site, and ensuring safety
• Subcontractor Coordination: Hiring, managing, and scheduling specialized trade partners
• Material & Equipment Procurement: Procuring necessary materials and managing on-site equipment
• Budget and Schedule Adherence: Controlling costs, managing the schedule, and delivering the project on time
• Compliance and Safety: Enforcing building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Problem Solving: Addressing on-site issues and removing obstacles that hinder progress

Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience: Generally 4+ years of construction experience is preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and using scheduling/estimating software
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential for managing subcontractors and site staff
