Overview

We’re looking for a Mitigation Project Manager who takes ownership of their work and leads by example. This is a hands-on role that combines field work with team leadership and project oversight. You’ll be responsible for managing mitigation jobs, supporting crews in the field, and making sure work is completed to CASE standards.

This position is a good fit for someone who has strong mitigation experience, communicates well, and wants to grow into a long-term leadership role while staying actively involved in the work.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Lead, mentor, and work alongside mitigation crews in the field
  • Manage mitigation projects from first response through completion
  • Perform hands-on mitigation work including extraction, demo, equipment setup, and monitoring
  • Set the tone for quality, accountability, and professionalism on every job
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, adjusters, and insurance partners
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with insurance representatives to support claims and documentation
  • Create, review, and manage accurate scopes, moisture documentation, and job records
  • Ensure documentation supports the work performed and drives clean, efficient billing
  • Balance speed, quality, and profitability while protecting customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, train team members, and strengthen operations

  • Documentation is thorough and submitted on time

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on mitigation/restoration experience (lead or management experience preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of water, mold, and fire mitigation
  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Experience with Xactimate and mitigation documentation platforms
  • Comfortable managing people and performing field work
  • Strong communicator who builds trust and professional relationships
  • Takes ownership, leads by example, and wants to grow with the company

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights
  • Able to stand, walk, and work for extended periods
