Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, and they are seeking a Lead Java Fullstack Developer. This role involves interfacing with key stakeholders, leading technical initiatives, and designing advanced backend systems while mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities : • Lead technical initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation. • Design and build advanced backend systems, microservices, and APIs using Java, Scala, or similar languages. • Optimize services for high throughput, low latency, and reliability. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including iOS client teams, Data Engineering, and Product to ensure seamless integration. • Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
Qualifications : Required : • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience • At least 4 years of experience with App development using Spring Boot, Java 8, API, Microservices, Angular 8+, AWS/Openshift, Oracle / SQL DB, Core Java dealing with Concurrency
Preferred : • At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review. • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle with good experience in Agile Development Model. • Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, and often Scala or Python. • Frameworks/Tools: Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, and distributed system design. • Data & Infrastructure: Understanding of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP). • Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills. • Analytical skills • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
