Front End React Developer Contract to Hire Remote Overview We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer to lead the rewrite of existing front-end applications using a new enterprise design system. This is a hands-on, developer-focused role where you will be responsible for implementing, coding, and scaling design system components across a core system. The project officially kicks off next month and will run through the end of the year, with potential for conversion to full-time based on mutual fit. Key Responsibilities Rewrite existing front-end applications to align with a newly defined design system Build, implement, and maintain reusable, scalable React components Translate design system specifications into high-quality, functional UI code Own front-end implementation end-to-end, operating as the senior engineer on the project Collaborate closely with a core engineering team, as well as Product and Design partners Ensure consistency, performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the UI Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and best practices Collaboration & Team Environment Work as part of a tightly knit core team Regular collaboration with Product Managers and Designers Partner closely with Design to ensure accurate and scalable implementation of the design system Technical Requirements Strong, hands-on experience with React Proven experience building and implementing design systems (component libraries, tokens, patterns) Experience working with enterprise-level design systems strongly preferred Developer-first mindset with a heavy emphasis on coding and implementation Ability to work independently and take full ownership of front-end delivery Startup-only experience may not be sufficient for this role Nice to have: Ruby experience Healthcare industry experience is not required Whats in it for you: Opportunity to progress your career in the Health Care industry at a Fortune 15 client Paid Holidays Weekly Paycheck
