Data Analyst
Provides analysis required to create and maintain application and corporate data models, adhering to defined standards and development methodologies. Recommends development process improvements, partners with development teams to capture data requirements, and assists in integrating data at corporate level. Performs data analysis using standards and methodologies, recommending improvements where applicable. Utilizes reusable objects when creating data models. Assists in the integration of application models into the enterprise model. Conducts individual tactical task planning and estimating. Analyzes large, multi-source healthcare datasets. Serves as a trusted analyst partner to product, operations, clinical, and finance stakeholders. Proactively identify analytical opportunities that improve affordability, quality, and member experience. Identify data quality issues, assess downstream impact, and recommend solutions. Influence analytics culture by promoting curiosity, critical thinking, and data-informed decision-making. Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Familiarity with data analysis concepts and data modeling tools. General knowledge of SQL. High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of BCBSMN data: Membership and Enrollment, Provider, Claims. Epic Payer Platform experience. Flexibility to work overtime hours to resolve problems and meet time schedules. Has clear, concise speaking and writing skills. Hybrid Our hybrid approach is designed to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person connection and collaboration. We come together in the office two days each week most teams designate at least one anchor day to ensure team interaction. These in-person moments foster relationships, creativity, and alignment. The rest of the week you are empowered to work remote. $68,900.00 - $91,300.00 - $113,700.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
