Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and utilize PPE correctly.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely (training provided).
- Communicate any order issues or stock discrepancies to supervision.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent Lifting and moving of items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring order accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety, including PPE usage.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems.
