Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. The Receiving Clerk is essential for ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the smooth flow of goods into our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for verifying deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and entering receiving data into our system. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE, is a requirement. This is a key position within our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of delivered goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Accurately record receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label received goods for proper identification and storage.
