Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader with experience in warehouse management? Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage a team, and ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods. This role is critical to our logistics success, requiring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse best practices. You will be responsible for motivating your team and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and shipping.
  • Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through effective cycle counting and regular audits.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in our logistics operations.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Control inventory levels and minimize stock shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage daily tasks related to Lifting and material handling to ensure Safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, Safety, and operational updates.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately and ensure staff compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
  • Commitment to upholding all PPE requirements for self and team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
