We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of urgency. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Your primary responsibility will be to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are correctly identified and picked from their designated locations. You will utilize RF scanners or other designated equipment to track inventory and order status. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key part of this role, contributing to overall warehouse safety and productivity. We expect all team members to adhere strictly to all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists using RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
