Join our dynamic fulfillment center in Richmond, Virginia, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are looking for dedicated individuals to play a vital role in our logistics operations. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be involved in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This position is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology and teamwork to meet operational goals. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately put away incoming inventory.
- Pick products from inventory based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety standards.
- Follow all company safety protocols diligently, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Meet performance targets for productivity and quality.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to safety rules and wear designated PPE.
