We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our busy facility in Seattle, Washington. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our logistics chain. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting items for damage, and properly logging received inventory into our system. A strong attention to detail is essential for this position, as is the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, which may involve significant Lifting. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to rigorous Safety standards. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This role is fundamental to maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to coordinate the flow of goods. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are highly valued. Experience with scanning equipment and inventory management software is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Enter received inventory data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate any receiving issues to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
