We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth flow of our supply chain and logistics. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. Daily tasks will involve operating hand trucks and other warehouse equipment to move materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Ensuring the correct handling of items to prevent damage is a key responsibility. Compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, is required. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to programmed storage.
- Order picking and packing for shipment.
- Process orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform inventory counts.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to strict Safety guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
