A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Forklift Operator at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods within our logistics hub. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the warehouse. Safety and precision are key in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately.
- Stack and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper placement and tracking of goods.
- Follow all established safety procedures and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational targets.
- Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions.
- Respond to direction from supervisors for various material handling tasks.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and contribute to a safety-conscious culture.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including correct PPE usage.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
