This role is fundamental to maintaining the integrity of our stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. Your work will directly impact our logistics operations by ensuring accurate inventory data, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing warehouse space. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential issues like overstocking or obsolescence.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Work with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate transaction recording.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory.
- Promote and adhere to all workplace Safety regulations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Comfortable with Lifting items up to 30 lbs.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards in all operations.
