We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments reach our clients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of energy and accuracy. A strong commitment to safety protocols and proper handling of goods is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, maintaining product integrity.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately to a supervisor.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- A strong focus on safety and awareness of potential hazards.
