We are seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics hub in Miami, Florida. In this vital role, you will be the gatekeeper for all incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and integrity from the moment goods arrive. Your duties will include unloading trucks, verifying shipment details against purchase orders, thoroughly inspecting products for damage or discrepancies, and accurately recording all information into our inventory management system. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a steadfast commitment to upholding safety standards. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries efficiently.
- Confirm quantities and product details against invoices and purchase orders.
- Identify and document any damages or shortages immediately.
- Enter all receiving data into the warehouse management system promptly and accurately.
- Prepare goods for stocking or distribution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving dock.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Address and resolve any receiving-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations.
