We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse located in Chicago, Illinois. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods, contributing directly to the efficiency of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification and have a proven track record of safe operation. You must be adept at maneuvering forklifts in tight spaces and performing pre-operation inspections. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. This role involves significant physical activity beyond forklift operation, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing. Experience with other warehouse equipment and RF scanning technology is a plus.
