We are hiring Picker/Packers for our facility in Tampa, Florida. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and meticulously preparing them for shipment to our customers. Your speed, accuracy, and dedication to quality will directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. This position requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from various warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning items correctly and reporting discrepancies.
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, such as stocking shelves and cycle counts, as needed.
- Must be prepared for regular Lifting and maneuvering of packages throughout the shift.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic inventory procedures.
- A strong commitment to adhering to Safety regulations.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive Lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
