Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Omaha, Nebraska, and play a vital role in our distribution network. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our inventory management systems and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order forms or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring proper materials are used.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment and update inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving and stocking.
- Must be able to perform consistent Lifting and reaching throughout the shift.
- Meet individual and team performance goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is a plus.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory.
- Commitment to following Safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
