We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order sheets or scanner prompts.
- Locate and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move goods.
- Perform regular checks of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order management.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Understand and follow all guidelines regarding the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Be prepared for physical tasks, including considerable Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting and prolonged standing.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
