We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing discrepancies. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and cycle counting. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will be paramount in this position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control systems. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires full use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will work closely with the warehouse management team to implement best practices in inventory control and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Key responsibilities include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and ensuring proper labeling and storage of all goods. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
