We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This position requires physical dexterity, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player ready to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify their contents against shipping documents.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Utilize provided PPE at all times when required.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals. Candidates must be able to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods. A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the proper use of PPE is crucial. Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory procedures is beneficial.
