As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be an integral part of our supply chain, responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately and efficiently in designated areas.
- Pick products for customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts (certification may be required) and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
