Join our expanding operations in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Material Handler. In this physically demanding role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, staging materials for production or shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires strength, stamina, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our Logistics network. A keen understanding of warehouse operations and adherence to all established procedures are essential. We require all employees to wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety vests, steel-toed boots, and hard hats when necessary. This role involves significant Lifting and the operation of potentially hazardous machinery, making safety paramount. Opportunities for career advancement exist for dedicated individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Wear all required PPE , including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and high-visibility vests.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Perform heavy Lifting as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 75 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Knowledge of safe material handling techniques.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Must be able to wear and maintain PPE throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
