Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer at our warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is integral to our order fulfillment operations, focusing on accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is meticulous, efficient, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety within our logistics environment. You will utilize scanning technology and work collaboratively with the team to meet daily fulfillment goals. This position requires physical dexterity and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on customer orders and pick lists.
  • Utilize RF scanning equipment to confirm picks and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify order contents against order documentation and shipping labels before dispatch.
  • Prepare shipments by sealing boxes, weighing them, and affixing correct labels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
  • Operate manual material handling equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment tasks as needed.
  • Work effectively with team members to achieve departmental productivity goals.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a picking and packing or similar warehouse role is a strong asset.
  • Capability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of safety best practices in a logistics setting and the importance of wearing PPE.
  • Ability to work at a consistent pace in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
