We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate for our location in Des Moines, Iowa. This position is key to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment, playing a crucial role in our overall logistics network.Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow directions.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- A strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
