We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our logistics center, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for shipment efficiently and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to operational excellence. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing materials for outgoing shipments. This involves using various equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Operate manual and powered equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to Safety and following procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
