We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain the operational integrity of our St. Louis, Missouri facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of various warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated machinery. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and safe functioning of our logistics operations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. A strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance are key to success in this position. You will play a vital role in the efficiency and safety of our warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the logistics and material handling systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in maintenance or technical roles within a warehouse or industrial setting. Experience with a variety of material handling equipment is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are required. This role may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various warehouse conditions.
