We are looking for a motivated Order Picker to join our team at our Sacramento, California distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Utilizing a state-of-the-art RF scanning system, you will ensure precise order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role demands a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be an essential link in our logistics chain, ensuring products are picked correctly and ready for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role. Familiarity with RF scanning technology is highly desirable. This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. A strong commitment to safety and understanding of logistics processes are essential.
