We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing all incoming shipments, ensuring the integrity of our inventory from the moment it arrives. Your duties will include unloading delivery trucks, verifying quantities and product quality against purchase orders, and meticulously documenting all received goods using our inventory management system. A commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety is paramount. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our logistics department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
- Verify shipment contents against invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.
- Identify and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to management.
- Accurately record received goods in the WMS.
- Maintain an organized and safe receiving area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and put-away tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or inventory role is preferred. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods is required.
