In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking specified items from warehouse shelves using scanning technology and carefully packing them for shipment. This position demands precision, speed, and a strong commitment to quality. You'll work collaboratively with a team to meet daily fulfillment targets in a dynamic logistics environment. We prioritize a safe workplace and provide all essential PPE , along with comprehensive training on our safety procedures. Expect to be on your feet for extended periods and engage in regular Lifting of goods. - Accurately identify and pick products based on order fulfillment lists or scanner data.
- Inspect items for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and methods to ensure product safety during transit.
- Efficiently pack orders, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and guidelines.
- Achieve daily picking and packing performance metrics.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to overall Logistics efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Capability for frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to using all required PPE .
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
