Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining organization.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and proficiently.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and logistics best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational goals.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and logistics operations.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and using PPE.
